'The most bitter, twisted, bitchy, spiteful fans I've ever come across...' Watch pundit Cundy's rant against Liverpool fans

Former Chelsea defender and talkSPORT pundit Jason Cundy has labelled Liverpool fans 'bitter, twisted and spiteful' after backing up Jose Mourinho's assertions that TV is dominated by ex-Kop stars.

Mourinho said in the aftermath of the Blues' 2-1 victory over Liverpool last weekend that no-one sticks up for his side as they are all former Anfield idols.

And, speaking on Chelsea TV in the coverage of the New Year's Day clash 3-0 win over Southampton, Cundy was fully behind the Portuguese, ranting about Liverpool supporters who contact him on Twitter.

He said: 'I’ve been having some interesting conversations with Liverpool fans on Twitter.

'They are the most bitter, twisted, bitchy and spiteful fans I have ever, ever come across. By some distance.'

After the Liverpool game, following claims Luis Suarez should have been awarded a penalty, Mourinho said: 'There are lots of people on TV, but nobody is a Chelsea man.'

'Carragher, Liverpool. Thompson, Liverpool. Redknapp, Liverpool. Neville, Manchester United. We don’t have one. When I retire, 75 years old, I go on as a pundit to defend Chelsea on television.'

Chelsea and Liverpool have a fierce rivalry borne over many meetings in Mourinho's first spell in charge, which saw him go head-to-head with future Blues interim manager Rafael Benitez.

The animosity shown towards Benitez in his Stamford Bridge reign came out of comments made while the Spaniard was at Anfield.

This 50 yr old man should act his age. Take off that silly Chelsea shirt and leave the verbal garbage to young immature men and children.

Think Cundy is a very poor pundit. Has no clue what he's on about half the time and very, very biased
